The Golden Eagles overcome 20-point deficit to win in overtime

FRESNO - Top-seeded Clovis West overcame a 20-point, third-quarter deficit to defeat second-seeded St. Joseph 72-63 in overtime on Saturday night to win the CIF Central Section Open Division boys basketball championship.

Sophomore point guard Jackson Young led the Golden Eagles (30-1) with 23 points - which included connecting on seven 3-pointers. Issac Martinez contributed 18 points - all of which came during the second half.
