1. Rancho Bernardo (5-0)

Junior Ben Lyons is hitting .556 through the first five games of the season.

The Saints are hitting nearly .440 as a team so far and have 23 doubles through six games.

3. Granite Hills (3-1)

The Eagles led by eight runs in the sixth inning during Tuesday's extra innings loss to No. 10 Bonita Vista.

4. San Marcos (4-1-1)

The Knights were tripped up for the first time this season, by St. Augustine, in the championship game of the Bill Whittaker Classic.

Junior Tommy Molina registered his fourth straight multi-hit game and homered in Thursday's win over West Hills

La Costa Canyon handled Del Norte and Classical Academy last week.

The Foothillers have slugged their way to a perfect 5-0 start, averaging over ten runs per game.

The Warhawks surrendered a late lead and lost to No. 7 Grossmont on Thursday.

9. La Jolla Country Day (4-1)

The Torreys beat previously ranked Torrey Pines in extra innings and revenged a loss to against Point Loma last week.

10. Bonita Vista (3-2)

The Barons had a wild week that included big wins over Granite Hills and Poway but also a loss to Del Norte.
