Highlights and photos: Three-run seventh inning leads Eastlake to 8-6 win over Otay Ranch

Junior Nico Libed had two hits and pitched the final inning for the Titans to get the save.

CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- Reigning San Diego Section Open Division Champion Eastlake appeared to be in trouble on Tuesday afternoon, finding themselves trailing league foe Otay Ranch, 6-3, as the sixth inning began. But the Titans went to work and chipped away, scoring five runs over the final two innings to take down Otay Ranch and grab their second league win in as many days.

Junior outfielder Nico Libed had hits in each of his first two at-bats that helped Eastlake jump out to a 3-0 lead before Otay Ranch scored six straight runs of their own. Libed took the mound in the final inning and worked out of a jam to shut the door and help the Titans grab their seventh win in the last eight games.
