SAN DIEGO SECTION TOP 10 BASEBALL RANKINGS

April 11, 2022

1. San Marcos (12-1-1)

San Marcos moved to 5-0 in Coastal League after beating Poway twice last week. They hit five home runs in game their first game against the Titans and now have 29 on the season.

2. Granite Hills (12-2)

The Titans held off a late rally to beat Grossmont on Monday at Petco Park. They'll play in the Lions Tournament this week including a big matchup at No. 4 Torrey Pines on Tuesday.

3. Santana (11-2)

Santana was off last week in preparation for four games this week including No. 5 St. Augustine and No. 10 La Costa Canyon.

4. Torrey Pines (11-3)

The Falcons shutout Carlsbad 9-0 on Tuesday before Carlsbad won via walk-off on Thursday. They'll begin the Lions Tournament by hosting Elk Grove on Monday.

5. St. Augustine (10-3-2)

After a blistering start, the Saints have lost three of their past four games including back-to-back league losses against Scripps Ranch last week.

6. Eastlake (12-4)

Eastlake bounced back with two Metro Mesa League wins over Montgomery last week. They'll host Canyon Crest on Monday.

7. Del Norte (11-3)

The Nighthawks beat Vista twice last week and have now scored 11 runs in each of their last three games. They'll host Palisades on Monday in game one of the Lions Tournament.

8. Francis Parker (13-2)

The Lancers have won ten straight and have only lost to No. 1 San Marcos and No. 5 St. Augustine so far this season. Junior catcher Jacob Campagna leads the way with three home runs and a .415 batting average.

9. Rancho Bernardo (8-6)

Rancho Bernardo split two league games with No. 10 La Costa Canyon last week. They'll take on Helix, Carlsbad, and Cathedral Catholic in the Lions Tournament this week.

10. La Costa Canyon (8-5)

The Mavericks secured their first league win of the season against Rancho Bernardo on Thursday. They'll host No. 5 St. Augustine on Monday.
