CORONA– The Cougars avenged an 6-2 loss from Monday and retook the top spot in the Big VIII League on Friday with an 8-4 win at rival Corona Centennial.

Mya Perez hit two home runs, including a go-ahead grand slam, to contribute six RBIs for Norco. She also started the game in the circle, and was relieved by Marley Goluskin, who got the win.
