Photos: Taft's Julia Bazylevych and Prior Borick win first ever LA City Section pairs beach volleyball championship

The duo went 7-0 on the day.

SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- The LA City Section held the first ever CIF sanctioned beach volleyball pairs championship on Friday afternoon from Santa Monica State Beach. Taft's duo of Julia Bazylevych and Prior Borick took home the title over Charlotte Wilson and Jordan Palmer from El Camino Real.

Bazylevych and Borick went 7-0 on the day between the preliminary round and playoffs.

"We did really well today," Borick said.
