Photos: Eastlake beats Grossmont 7-6 in 11 innings to win San Diego Section Division 1 championship

Daniel Mora scored on a wild pitch in the 11th inning to win the game for the Titans.

LA JOLLA, Calif. -- Eastlake captured their second straight San Diego Section CIF championship and the eighth in school history on Friday night when junior Daniel Mora sprinted home from third base on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 11th inning to defeat Grossmont, 7-6.

The Titans erased three different deficits throughout the night and tied the game on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning to send the game to extra innings.
