Photos: Mar Vista beats Olympian 7-3 to capture first CIF championship in school history

Senior Jordan Mahan had two hits and pitched the final three innings of the game.

LA JOLLA, Calif. -- Mar Vista senior Jordan Mahan showed off his two-way ability on Thursday, driving in two runs with a third inning double before taking over on the mound and closing out the final three innings of the game in the Mariners' 7-3 win over Olympian.

Mar Vista led 6-0 after three innings and coasted to the San Diego Section Division 3 championship, the first in school history.
