Photos: Sam Garewal, Marco Lombardi lead Canyon Crest to San Diego Section Division 2 championship

The Ravens only needed two runs in order to get by Montgomery in the San Diego Section Division 2 championship game.

LA JOLLA, Calif. -- Senior pitcher Sam Garewal tossed a one-hitter and outfielder Marco Lombardi supplied all the offense with a two-run triple as Canyon Crest defeated Montgomery 2-0 in the San Diego Section Division 2 championship game. The win gave the Ravens their first CIF baseball title in school history.
