LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Senior pitcher Jose Ruedas was lights out on Saturday at Dodger Stadium. The senior threw a complete game in a performance Chatsworth head coach Marcus Alvarado called his "best" of the season in the Chancellors 2-0 City title win over Birmingham.

Ruedas allowed only four hits and struck out six. In the bottom of the seventh inning, he gave up a leadoff single to Vince Cervantes, but retired the next three batters he faced to win the game. Here, he discusses the win.
