Roderick Pleasant, four-star Serra (Gardena, California) cornerback and one of the fastest high school football players in the country, committed to Oregon on Wednesday in a ceremony in Serra's gymnasium.

Pleasant, California's high school 100-meter dash record holder, chose the Ducks over a top five that also included USC, Cal, Boston College and UCLA. USC was the other rumored finalist.

He's a four-star prospect and the No. 8 corner in the country, per 247 Sports.

As a senior, the 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back logged 30 tackles, four picks and a fumble recovery as Serra went 7-5.
