Photos: Defending Northern California Open champion Modesto Christian overpowers Jesuit for SJS Open crown

SACRAMENTO — This one wasn't even close.
The Crusaders of Modesto Christian got 27 points from San Diego State-bound point guard BJ Davis, Jalen Brown added 19 points and 6-foot-10 post Prince Oseya contributed 17 points and 13 rebounds in a 79-53 win over Jesuit Saturday at Golden 1 Center.
The Marauders, winners of 14 straight coming in, were playing superb basketball and feature two big and long shooters in Stanford-bound Andrej Stojakovic, a 6-6 guard, and 6-8 wing Cole Epperson.
Jesuit just did not match up. Stojakovic, the son of former NBA great Peja, had 17 points but the Marauders were outrebounded by a staggering 47-15 count. Modesto Christian had more offensive rebounds (19) than Jesuit had total.
Peja Stojakovic sat courtside near another former Kings great, Vlade Divac.
