Rudolph nearly posted a triple double in the championship game, finishing with 17 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds.

SAN DIEGO -- After seeing the La Jolla Country Day girls capture their second straight San Diego Section Open Division title in dominating fashion early in the day on Saturday, St. Augustine followed suit.

The Saints led Montgomery 46-29 at halftime on their way to an 85-53 victory, their 33rd consecutive against San Diego Section opponents. The win gave the Saints their second straight San Diego Section Open Division championship and fourth in the 10-year history of the division.

Junior point guard Lolo Rudolph came up big for the Saints, finishing with 17 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in the victory. Rudolph discussed his big night and the history the Saints made repeating as champions after the game.
