Cathedral Catholic hires Graham Bousley as next boys' basketball coach

Bousley becomes the eleventh boys' basketball coach in Cathedral Catholic history.

Graham Bousley has been hired as head boys basketball coach at Cathedral Catholic, the school announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Bousley most recently held the title of Special Assistant to the Head Coach and Director of Recruiting at Longwood University. He also spent time on the coaching staff at George Washington, Mount St. Mary's, Siena, Rice and Virginia Commonwealth following his graduation from the University of Wisconsin.

He replaces Will Cunningham who departed from his position with the Dons in April to become head coach at Christian High School in El Cajon following 16 seasons and three San Diego Section championships at Cathedral Catholic.

Cathedral Catholic is coming off a 15-14 season in 2022-23, losing in the first round of the San Diego Section Division 1 playoffs. The Dons qualified for the Open Division playoffs in each of the three previous seasons, winning the title in 2019-20.
