The Padres score 20 fourth-quarter points to remain undefeated in their first two games

SAN MATEO, Calif. — Serra (San Mateo) scored 20 fourth-quarter points while shutting out NorCal rival De La Salle 28-0 on Saturday afternoon at Brady Family Stadium.

The Padres, who opened their season with a 21-14 victory a week earlier over visiting Folsom, improved to 2-0.

A Jermaine Barrett 60-yard interception return for touchdown with 1:53 remaining put the finishing touches on Serra’s win on Saturday.
