The Huskies' only losses this season are to nationally-ranked private school powers: No. 1 Bishop Gorman (Nevada) and No. 5 Mater Dei. 

With a win over Orange Lutheran (5-5) in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs, Corona Centennial would likely get a crack at another private school power - No. 2 St. John Bosco.

The Huskies host the Lancers on Friday at 7 p.m. in one of four first-round Division 1 playoff games. The other three games feature St. John Bosco vs. San Clemente, Santa Margarita vs. Sierra Canyon and JSerra vs. Mater Dei.
