There was more on the line than just a Northern California championship Saturday at Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield.

McClymonds 31-year coach Michael Peters, the father of NFL cornerback Marcus Peters, announced he was retiring at the end of this season.

Down 14-0 early, the Warriors fought back, uphill the entire day but came up short as Charles Williams scored two touchdowns and intercepted two passes and senior quarterback Peter Macaulay accounted for three touchdowns in a 35-28 win.
