MISSION VIEJO, CALIFORNIA — Ryder Lyons threw for a touchdown and had a rushing score to lead Folsom to a 20-14 victory over St. Bonaventure on Saturday night in the CIF State Division D1-A football championship game at Saddleback College.
It marks the fifth state football title for the Bulldogs (13-2).
Lyons threw the game-winning, 2-yard touchdown pass to Jameson Powell with just 20 seconds remaining.
Lyons passed for 137 yards on 13 competitions and had a game-high 97 yards rushing for the Bulldogs.
