The 2023 CIF Northern Section boys basketball playoffs continue on Wednesday.

The CIF-SJS released its boys basketball playoff matchups Saturday, and the playoffs kicked off Tuesday with Division 7 play and conclude Feb. 23-24. with games across all five divisions.

Top seeds in each divisions are: Pleasant Valley (D3), Gridley (D4), Weed (D5), Redding Christian (D6) and Princeton (D7).

Defending champions are: Pleasant Valley (D3), University Prep (D4), Trinity (D5), Redding Christian (D6) and Loyalton (D7).

On Tuesday in Division 7, Paradise Adventist knocked off Bethel 65-45 and Butte Valley defeated Westwood 61-46.
