Michael Lindsay scores game-high 25 points to lift Alemany past Santa Cruz 63-53 in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO — Michael Lindsay scored a game-high 25 points to lift Alemany past Santa Cruz 63-53 on Friday afternoon in the California (CIF) Division 3 state boys basketball championship at the Golden 1 Center.

It marked the second state hoop title for the Warriors (25-15). 

Lindsey scored 16 of his 25 points during the second half and teammate Jared Mims finished with 14 points.

Demarco Hunter led Santa Cruz (27-7) with 22 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds. Ben Dotten had 15 points for Cardinals.
