Angelina Habis and Deana Thompson combine for 37 points to lead Harvard-Westlake past Colfax 60-45 in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO — Angelina Habis scored a game-high 19 points and Deana Thompson added 18 to lead Harvard-Westlake over Colfax 60-45 on Saturday afternoon in the California (CIF) Division 2 state girls basketball championship at the Golden 1 Center.

It marks the second state hoop title for Wolverines (19-18) in three trips.

Valentina Guerrero supplied 14 points and a game-high 13 rebounds for Harvard-Westlake, which outscored the Falcons 18-5 in the final period.

Juliette James led Colfax (34-3) with 18 points and 11 rebounds while Kaia Diederichs finished with 13 points.
