What a night. What a hit the Top 25 state ranked teams took, right from the start.

Top-ranked Sierra Canyon, all that perfection all season behind a historically good defense, lost a quarterfinal Southern Section Division 1 playoff game as did No. 3 St. John Bosco, a team that had been No. 1 for most of the season.

Down goes Frazier.

That was just for starters. Eight teams from the Top 25 all sustained season-ending defeats.
