Florida's top high school softball players: Meet the state's Top 20 first basemen

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be taking a look at some of the top high school softball players in Florida.
We started with the Top 20 pitchers, then we took a closer look at the Top 20 catchers. Now, we turn our attention to the first basemen.

TOP 20 FIRST BASEMEN IN FLORIDA SOFTBALL
1. Christina Mason, Tate
Mason, a senior, has an on-base percentage of .439 and has driven in 22 runs this season.
2. Bristin Bordeau, Lake Brantley

Bordeau, a junior, has already committed to the University of Louisiana Monroe. She has four home runs on the season, including a solo shot on April 18 in a win over Winter Springs.
3. Chandler Barry, Oxbridge Academy
Barry is one of the best hitters on one of the best teams in the country. She hit two home runs in a win over South Fork on April 8.
4. Addison Giles, Marianna
Giles tied her season high with a 2-RBI game on April 1, in a 4-0 win over Florida State University High.
5. Julianna Nieves, Ida Baker
Nieves drove in a season-high four runs back on March 11, in a 16-1 win over Cape Coral.
6. Mallie Tolley, Blountstown
Tolley drove in a season-high three runs on April 12, in a 17-4 loss vs Port St. Joe.
7. Grace Wilson, Providence School of Jacksonville
Wilson drove in three runs back on February 24, in a 17-1 win over First Coast.
8. Chloe Eichelberger, Sickles
Eichelberger drove in three runs back on March 12, in an 8-6 win over Land O’Lakes.
9. Baylie Dorr, Northeast (St. Petersburg)
Dorr drove in a season-high four runs back on March 25, in an 11-5 win over St. Petersburg.
10. Kiera Mainolfi, Royal Palm Beach
The 5-foot-7 senior is tied for the team lead with 16 runs batted in this season.
11. Haylee High, Pace
High is fourth on the team with 16 runs batted in and has an on-base percentage of .365.
12. Haleigh Campbell, LaBelle
Campbell tied her season-high with three RBI on April 11, in an 18-0 win over Glades Day.
13. Payton Cushman, Calvary Christian Clearwater
Cushman started the season with at least one hit in 16 consecutive games.
14. Jayden Heavner, Pace
Heavner has not only been dominant in the pitching circle this season, but has also recorded a fielding percentage of .870
15. Kayley Zazzali, All Saints’ Academy
Zazzali drove in a season-high five runs on April 6, in a 14-3 win over Discovery.
16. Baylee Inwood-Goodwin, Citrus
The 5-foot-7 freshman is leading the Lady Hurricanes with 18 runs batted in this season.
17. Gabby Bauchele, Pine Ridge
Bauchele drove in a season-high three runs back on March 3, in an 8-5 loss vs Trinity Christian Academy.
18. Bailey Bessette, Land O’Lakes
Bessette has not recorded an error in 20 games played this season for the Lady Gators.
19. Sophia Mendoza, Riverdale
Mendoza tied her season high with three runs batted in back on March 31, in a 3-0 win over Naples.
20. Olivia Sikes, Fleming Island
The 5-foot-5 freshman has a fielding percentage of .982, which leads her team.
