Look: Stoneman Douglas wins back-to-back Florida 7A baseball state championships
Florida commit Chris Arroyo picked up the win and hit a three-run homer
FORT MYERS - Stoneman Douglas capped a dream season with another state title, pounding Palm Beach Gardens 10-0 in the FHSAA Class 7A baseball state championship on Saturday night.
Stoneman Douglas (30-2) has multiple Division I college baseball commits, including Florida commit Chris Arroyo who pitched a shutout and blasted a three-run home run in the fifth inning that gave the Eagles a 10-0 lead and ended the game.
It's the second consecutive state championship for the Eagles, who are widely considered one of the best high school baseball teams in the country.
