Lake Brantley’s Harris brothers make commitments; Andrew to UCF & Michael to Maryland

The Lake Brantley star duo made their verbal commitments on National Signing Day

It’s pretty rare to see brothers that play at the same high school and split up when it comes to making a college commitment.

Count the Harris brothers of Lake Brantley High School as an exception to that. The star duo made their verbal commitments known Wednesday afternoon, with Andrew remaining firm to UCF and Michael now committing to Maryland, flipping from the Knights.

Both 4-star linebackers according to 247Sports, each was selected and played in the Under Armour All-American game last month at Camping World Stadium.

Andrew, who was named the Most Valuable Player of the Polynesian Bowl, had himself a stellar 2022 campaign and racked up 72 tackles and four sacks.

Michael was not too shabby himself, totaling 104 tackles, 4.5 sacks for the Patriots and was the leading tackler at the Under Armour All-American game.
