Adrian Posse transfers to Miami Northwestern from Mater Academy Charter

Posse is a 3-star rated quarterback according to 247Sports

MIAMI, FLORIDA- The Miami Northwestern Bulls have started to see an influx of transfers come in as spring football begins.

On Thursday evening, quarterback Adrian Posse transferred to Miami Northwestern from Mater Academy Charter. Posse is a 3-star signal caller according to 247Sports and formerly played at Monsignor Pace and Columbus, respectively.

Posse, a junior, was formerly an Auburn commitment, but decommitted from the Tigers back in mid-January. The Bulls have potentially their replacement at the position, with Taron Dickens graduating.

Among the list of suitors for Posse currently, the 6-foot-5, 230-pound quarterback has offers from Akron, Appalachian State, Arkansas, Florida International, Florida, Georgia, Miami (Fl), Notre Dame, Ohio State, SMU, Southern Miss, Texas A&M and USF.

Miami Northwestern decided to keep it in the family when it came down to naming the successor to former lead man Max Edwards, who was ousted as head football coach back in March.

The Bulls named former wide receiver Michaelee Harris as the program's next head coach. Northwestern finished the 2022 season with a 6-5 record, losing in the Class 2M playoffs 34-30 to eventual champion and rival Miami Central.
