Vote Now: Who is the 2023 Florida Girls Flag Football Player of the Year?

Some of the best high school girls flag football talent around the country comes from down in Florida and we went ahead and compiled a list of who we think are the Player of the Year candidates throughout the Sunshine State. We ask you the fan to take a look at our list and give us your vote on who do you think the top candidate for Player of the Year in the state of Florida is.
Editor’s note: Our corresponding poll is intended to be fun, and we do not set limits on how many times a fan can vote during the competition. This poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Mieke Rowe, QB, Alonso: The Class 2A champion quarterback had a season to remember as she completed 414-of-560 for 5,002 yards and 95 touchdowns.
Makenna Sturgis, WR, Alonso: What didn’t Sturgis do for the Ravens? The athlete caught 73 passes for 1,300 yards and 34 touchdowns and then on defense had 13 interceptions.
Haidyn Spano, QB, Robinson: The Class 1A champion signal caller completed 433-of-674 passes for 5,275 yards and 98 touchdowns.
Katejion Robinson, WR, Robinson: The 3-sport star shined brightest when it came to the gridiron. Robinson caught 103 catches for 1,514 yards and scored 32 touchdowns for the Knights.
Abby Elwell, QB, Lennard: One of the top passers all season long, Elwell completed 469-of-679 passes for 4,589 yards and 64 touchdowns.
Emma Corr, QB, New Smyrna Beach: Corr was a bigger threat on the ground than she was through the air. The quarterback led the state in rushing with 1,787 yards, 10 touchdowns. Also threw for 1,616 yards and seven touchdowns.
Diaris Morales, QB, Choctawhatchee: The freshman signal caller was a standout on the Panhandle as she completed 337-of-585 passes for 4,391 yards and 65 touchdowns.
Amaya Pablo, QB, Pace: Pablo was the other top quarterback on the Panhandle next to Morales. The signal caller completed 402-of-527 passes for 4,311 yards and 53 touchdowns.
Nichelle Brown, WR, Bradford: Leading the entire state in total touchdowns at wide receiver was Brown. The wideout hauled in 112 catches for 1,969 yards and 29 touchdowns. Scored a total of 49 touchdowns in all for the Tornadoes.
Camille Candidate, LB, Edison: When it came to the state’s top statistical rusher, Candidate was it. The rush linebacker compiled 140 flag pulls with 27 pulls for a loss and a state-high 61 sacks.
Liani Gil, ATH, Oxbridge Academy: Gil did a little bit of everything for the Thunder. The sophomore rushed for 629 yards, three touchdowns and caught 21 passes for 418 and six scores. On defense though was her calling card, leading the state with 162 flag pulls and 34 sacks.
Yanei Honan, QB, Cooper City: There was plenty of great signal callers down in South Florida, but Honan topped them all. Honan threw for 3,562 yards and 51 touchdowns.
