Clearwater Calvary Christian (Florida) three-star offensive lineman Joseph Ionata made his commitment on Saturday morning to the Crimson Tide

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA- One of the top offensive linemen in the Tampa Bay Area made his commitment official early Saturday morning.

Clearwater Calvary Christian (Florida) junior offensive lineman Joseph Ionata announced via Twitter that he is committing to the Crimson Tide. The offensive lineman is a 3-star rated prospect according to 247Sports and also had offers on the table from Army, Appalachian State, Miami (FL) and Boston College.

At 6-foot-3, 280 pounds, Ionata figures to add a little more size at the next level and has the ideal frame to continue playing at either offensive tackle position or inside at guard as well. Ionata helped pave the way for a Warriors’ offense that compiled over 4,000 yards last fall.
