Williams, a sophomore wide receiver for Sumner (Riverview, Fla.), made an unbelievable one-handed grab at the USF Sling-N-Shoot

TAMPA, FLORIDA- Does the one-handed catches by wide receivers over would-be defenders ever get old?

Sumner junior wide receiver Tyler Williams pulled it off and wowed plenty of onlookers Saturday afternoon at USF’s Sling-N-Shoot tournament. The impressive catch stopped the game momentarily before resuming.

Williams, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver, went up high to snag a catch with one hand and made it look routine in this play below.

The Stingrays’ wide receiver is coming off a solid 2022 campaign as Williams caught 29 catches for 587 yards and scored eight touchdowns.

Williams isn’t a secret when it comes to his name starting to get out there to college recruiters. The receiver has offers from Iowa State, UCF, USF and West Virginia.
