Zavier Hamilton, 3-star rated linebacker, commits to USF over Arkansas, Auburn & Kansas
FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA- One of the Panhandle’s top linebackers heading into the 2023 season made his college decision on Saturday evening.
Transferring from Navarre to Fort Walton Beach during the off-season, linebacker Zavier Hamilton now can focus on the upcoming season at hand for the Vikings.
Fort Walton Beach (Florida) junior linebacker Zavier Hamilton announced Saturday evening via Twitter that he is committing to the Bulls. The two-way linebacker is a 3-star rated prospect according to 247Sports and also had offers on the table from Arkansas, Auburn and Kansas.

Hamilton played in seven games for the Raiders last season and made just under 30 tackles. Now with the Vikings, Hamilton is expected to be the team’s top player in the front seven.
The 6-foot-2, 218-pound linebacker also had offers from Cincinnati, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Tennessee State and Virginia Tech.
