Jashad Presley, 3-star safety, commits to UCF over Appalachian State, Georgia Tech & East Carolina

ORLANDO, FLORIDA- One of the top safeties in Central Florida decided on Friday afternoon that when his high school playing days are over, he won’t be going too far away.
Dr. Phillips (Florida) junior safety Jashad Presley announced Friday afternoon via Twitter that he is committing to UCF. The defensive star is a 3-star rated prospect according to 247Sports and also had offers on the table from Appalachian State, Bethune-Cookman, East Carolina and Georgia Tech.
Last season for the Panthers, Presley saw time at primarily safety. Through five games, Presley notched 28 tackles, six for loss, two sacks and an interception.
Presley also held offers from Eastern Kentucky, Georgia State, Howard, Kentucky, Liberty, Marshall, Maryland, New Hampshire, Pittsburgh, Temple, Tennessee, USF, Western Kentucky, Western Michigan and Miami (FL).
