25 days until Florida high school football season: One number for each day as we count down to kickoff 2023

SBLive Florida gives you one significant number per day as we mark the days until high school football returns.

The Florida high school football season is scheduled to begin Thursday, Aug. 24 — 25 days from today. As we count down the days until kickoff, SBLive Florida will give you one significant number per day.

As a sophomore running back for the Kissimmee Osceola Kowboys, Taevion Swint developed throughout the 2022 season as one of the best in the Sunshine State.

His production in his first full season as the every down starter was on full display against some of the top teams in the state like Jones, Lakeland, Sanford Seminole and West Orange.

Swint isn’t a secret any longer as the tailback has attracted a boatload of schools to offer him, with the Kowboys’ back holding overtures from schools like Auburn, Georgia and others.

The running back decided back on April 14 that he is committing to the local UCF Knights and staying nearby to home. Swint will look to build off of last season’s 1,666 yards rushing and 25 total touchdowns he scored heading into this 2023 campaign.
