The future Florida State Seminole opened the game against Chaminade-Madonna with a big time hit

MIAMI, FLORIDA- Whoa. 

Is there any better way to start off a game that was delayed an hour and 40 minutes than with a big hit? 

That's exactly what occurred for Miami Central WR/DB Lawayne McCoy in the Rockets' highly anticipated Thursday night matchup at Traz Powell Stadium against the Chaminade-Madonna Lions. 

The Florida State commitment met head up with North Carolina State commit Cedrick Bailey and it's safe to say McCoy won Round 1. Take a look at the hit by McCoy on Bailey on the first offensive snap of the game.

The game, which was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern Time, is currently being aired on ESPN2 after going through an extended weather delay.
