Vote: Who has been the best freshman running back in Florida so far in 2023?

We are just past the mid-point part of the high school football season here in the Sunshine State and there’s no shortage of underclassmen performing at a high level. It’s no surprise that freshmen are showing out in Florida as that’s been the case in the past many times over. This list of underclassmen features some of the top running backs we’ve seen or have been on the rise in Florida. Take a look at our list and vote for who you feel has been the top performing freshman running back in Florida.

Here are this week's nominations:
Kyree Wilson, Christ's Church Academy: The running back from Northeast Florida leads all freshmen in rushing with 957 yards on 114 carries and eight touchdowns.
Noah Flores, Satellite Beach: Satellite has been playing well this season, with a 5-2 record. Flores has been a factor on the offensive side, rushing for 578 yards on 103 attempts and four touchdowns.
Arwin Jackson, Chaminade-Madonna: Trying to get carries behind Davion 'Bullet' Gause is pretty tough, but Jackson has nabbed some touches as a freshman. Jackson has carried the rock 73 times for 466 yards and six touchdowns.
Jonathan Bueno Jr., True North Classical: All the talk around True North has been around quarterback Zac Katz. The budding star signal caller has a talented teammate next to him in Bueno Jr. The tailback has rushed for 469 yards and scored nine touchdowns.
Iyen Addison, Clay: The Blue Devils are back to winning football games and have always been known for their ground attack. Addison has rushed for 554 carries on 70 touches and scored seven touchdowns.
Trey Bell, All Saints Academy: Bell has been pretty impressive as a freshman this fall, with the tailback carrying the ball 62 times for 451 yards and scored five touchdowns.
Nino Joseph, Lely: Being named a Freshman All-American is already a pretty good start to your varsity time as a player. Joseph has done that and has the stats to back it up, rushing for 408 yards on 49 carries and three scores.
Dylan Louthain, Freeport: When it comes to Panhandle talent, Louthain leads the way for freshmen. The running back has rushed for 332 yards on 51 attempts and scored once.
Jaelyn Powell, Bishop Moore: Powell is a part of a potent Hornets' offensive attack as the freshman back has rushed for 348 yards on 59 attempts and three touchdowns.
Kymarion Johnson, Melbourne: The Bulldogs rely on a strong ground attack and Johnson is one of the primary ball carriers. Johnson has rushed for 355 yards on 83 carries and scored two touchdowns.
Larry Davis, Riverside: The 5-foot-11, 175-pound running back has come out on the scene with Generals and played well. Davis has carried the ball 54 times for 400 yards and six touchdowns.
