Jones finished his tenure at Godby with an overall record of 5-14, with the team going 3-6 this past 2023 season. According to a report by Liam Rooney of the Tallahassee Democrat, Jones’ last day at Godby will be next week on December 19th. Per Rooney, John Holston has been named the interim head coach.

Charlton County is coming off a 2-8 campaign in which the Indians struggled out of the gates and could never recover. The Indians lost three games by one score and have gone through four losing seasons in the last decade.
