Jason Griffin had a great six seasons at Bozeman High School and now has decided to take his coaching talents not too far away.

Per WMBBTV’s Sam Granville Monday morning, Griffin has accepted the head football coaching job at Arnold High School. Griffin during his six seasons with the Bucks had an overall mark of 38-27.

Griffin is a 1992 Rutherford graduate, who played his collegiate ball at Tennessee Martin. He then came back to the Panhandle and has been an assistant at Pensacola Catholic, Mosley, Rutherford and previously an assistant at Arnold.

It was this past 2023 season where Griffin did his best work in leading the Bucks to a 12-1 record and into the Class 1R state semifinals, before falling to Madison County.

Griffin takes over an Arnold football program that has gone 3-16 over the last two seasons. The last time the Marlins had a winning record was back in 2014 when they went 6-4.
