Maybe the grass wasn’t greener on the other side.

For 2025 3-star running King Davis, he transferred to Miami Central for his junior season, but started his high school career at Miami Northwestern.

That’s exactly where Davis will be heading back to, as the running back confirmed with SBLive Sports Florida he will be transferring from Miami Central to Miami Northwestern.

Davis last season shared carries with fellow backfield mate Jayden Ford and the two combined to rush for over 1,000 yards. Davis himself rushed for 559 yards on 59 attempts and scored five touchdowns.

The 3-star running back, according to 247Sports, has offers on the table from schools like Arkansas, Ole Miss, Oregon, Pittsburgh, UCF, USF and West Virginia.
