Vote: Who is the Northeast Florida Boys Basketball Player of the Week (2/12/2024)?

The Florida High School Boys Basketball season is in full swing and we continue our Player of the Week polls for areas all around the state. Teams started off the regular season with some great individual performances.

As such, we have eight athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s Northeast Florida high school boys basketball player of the week award from February 5-10 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, February 18th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Congratulations to St. Johns Country Day’s Erik Williams for winning last week’s Northeast Florida poll!

Editor’s note: Our corresponding poll is intended to be fun, and we do not set limits on how many times a fan can vote during the competition. This poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Here are the nominees:

Caleb Williams, Ribault: Despite in a losing effort in a district championship loss to Andrew Jackson, scoring a team-high 33 points.

Jaquan Wells, Riverside: The Generals dominated Ed White in a district championship win and Wells led the way, scoring a team-high 21 points.

Derek Rivers, Creekside: Needing a strong performance, Rivers came through and lifted the Knights into a district championship game. In Creekside’s 60-43 win over Flagler Palm Coast, River’s scored a team-high 16 points in the victory.

Bryson Utter, Nease: Though the Panthers came up short, it wasn’t for a lack of effort from Utter, who scored a team-high 21 points in a district semifinal loss to Oakleaf.
