It's playoff basketball time around the state of Florida and action continues tonight as the region quarterfinals begin.

One of the top matchups in the Sunshine State taking place tonight is between the Creekside Knights (18-9) and Sanford Seminole Seminoles (20-7). 

The Knights and Seminoles have not met this season and kickoff the Class 7A, Region 1 action. The Seminoles are aiming to pickup win No. 21 on the season. 

Sanford Seminole is led in the scoring department by senior shooting guard Josiah Shackelford, who is averaging a team-high 22.1 points per game. Second on the team in scoring is senior point guard Dequan Ross at 11.2 a contest. 

The winner of tonight's contest will face the winner of Apopka-University.
