Florida high school football: Sarasota announces 2024 schedule

Sailors have 10 games scheduled including against Cardinal Mooney and Venice

Football schedules for the 2024 season are starting to be announced all across the Sunshine State and SBLive Sports Florida will share these as we see them.

Recently, the Sarasota Sailors announced the following slate of games for 2024. The Sailors will play 10 games, including contests against Cardinal Mooney, Sarasota Riverview and on the road against state power Venice.

Among other teams on the schedule are Braden River, Lakewood Ranch, Parrish Community and Sarasota Booker. 

Below is the Sailors' 2024 regular season schedule, with official game times to be announced.

Aug. 16: vs. Brandon (preseason)

Aug. 23: vs. Cardinal Mooney

Aug. 30: at Braden River 

Sep. 6: at Sarasota Booker 

Sep. 13: vs. Gibbs

Sep. 20: vs. Ida Baker

Sep. 27: vs. Sarasota Riverview

Oct. 4: at Lakewood Ranch
