OUTLOOK
Yet another head coach will take over the reins at Cleveland this season, and he’ll hope to bring the program forward from its tough two-win season in 2018.
New coach Frank Richard will hope to shift the momentum of a program that has only had one winning season in the last 15 seasons.
Richard loses a huge senior class (16 players) but returns a couple key pieces in athlete Makana Haynes and two-way lineman Savion Galloway.
He’ll also be bringing out some ringers this season — converted track star Jordon Cannon and converted basketball phenom Angus Vlasaty should make an immediate impact on the field for the Eagles.
Coach Richard is excited for the task, telling us that he thinks the Eagles will certainly be “in the mix” this year in the Valley Division.
