TIGER, GEORGIA – The last time the Rabun County High football team lost a region game, prior to Friday night, was in 2013 when Washington-Wilkes upended the Tigers. A string of 50 consecutive region wins followed, but Elbert County brought that streak to a close on Friday with a 21-9 victory at Rabun.

Elbert served notice early when Jacari Brown broke loose for a 70-yard run touchdown run to give the Warriors a 7-0 lead.

Elbert also got 30-yard TD pass from Jayvyn Hickman to Jayden Thompson, and iced the victory when Braydon Scarborough completed a 20-yard pass to Malik Moon, with 10 minutes left, to put the contest out of reach.

The Blue Devils improved to 7-1 this season, while Rabun County fell to 6-2.
