Photos: Rigby upsets Eagle in Idaho 5A boys basketball state quarterfinals

Rigby will play Centennial in the 5A semifinals on Friday

NAMPA, Idaho - Karson Barber scored 14 points to lead Rigby to a 54-52 upset of Eagle in the Idaho Class 5A boys basketball state quarterfinals on Thursday.

Rigby built a 20-point lead in the first half, then had to withstand a furious rally by Eagle. The Mustangs came all the way back and took a five-point lead in the fourth quarter, but Rigby closed the game on a 9-4 run to pull out the victory.

Rigby will play Centennial in the 5A semifinals on Friday at 5 p.m.
