Photos: Father Tolton holds off visiting Fayette for seventh victory of the season
Trailblazers will head into the district playoffs looking to make school history
The Father Tolton football team secured the third-best record in school history with a forfeit victory in Week 8, but the Trailblazers aren't stopping.
Tolton used a late defensive stand on Friday night to earn a hard-fought 40-36 win against visiting Fayette and improve to 7-2 on the season.
The seven wins are the most for the Trailblazers since going 10-2 in 2015, which followed an 8-2 campaign in 2014. Now Tolton will head into the district playoffs looking to make a run – and make school history.
Fayette finished the regular season at 5-4.
