Mater Dei RB Raleek Brown will follow Lincoln Riley, commits to USC Trojans football

A day after backing off of his commitment to Oklahoma, Mater Dei senior running back Raleek Brown pledged to USC on Thursday.

A day after backing off of his commitment to Oklahoma, Mater Dei senior running back Raleek Brown pledged to USC on Thursday. He becomes the first recruit in the 2022 class to commit to new USC head coach Lincoln Riley.

Brown joins 2023 Los Alamitos QB Malachi Nelson in flipping from Oklahoma to USC to follow Riley.

Brown has been a star in Mater Dei's backfield for the last two seasons since transferring from Stockton Edison. This year, Brown has rushed for 1,062 yards and 12 touchdowns. He averages eight yards per carry for a Mater Dei team that's 11-0 and will play for a state championship next week.
