Ben Imler's game-winning grab named high school football National Play of the Week (Sept. 22-24)

The San Angelo Central (Texas) receiver's spectacular catch-and-run earns nearly 10,000 votes for the win

The SBLive Sports staff watched a whole bunch of high school football highlights from across the nation during the week of Sept. 22-24 and then picked our top 10.

Our readers had seven days to choose their favorite, and Ben Imler's game-winning catch-and-run for San Angelo Central (Texas) came out on top.

Imler's touchdown catch from Tyler Hill earned 9,703 votes (53.8%), beating out a bone-crushing hit by Dereon Pearson of Heard County (Georgia), which earned 7,286 votes (40.4%).

Congratulations, Ben Imler and the San Angelo Central Bobcats!
