CARLSBAD -- Junior forward Vincent Berlucchi had 20 points for La Costa Canyon on Monday night including three three-pointers in the second half that helped the Mavericks extend their seven-point halftime lead to 21 points after three quarters. Sage Creek ended the game on a 12-0 run to cut the final deficit to ten points. Senior Brendan Perry added 19 points and was one of four Mavericks in double figures on the night.
