Meet the SBLive Oklahoma 2021 All-State football team: Dynamic Bixby standout Braylin Presley named Most Valuable Player

Braylin Presley had a final game to remember in a Bixby uniform, and it wasn't just the fact the Spartans won another state title.

Presley threw a halfback pass 76 yards for a touchdown on the Spartans' opening play from scrimmage in the 6AII championship game. He later added three rushing touchdowns, one coming on a 94-yard run. It was on that long TD jaunt that Presley became the school's all-time leading rusher.

When it was over, Bixby had claimed a fourth straight 6AII title, with Presley a member of all four championship squads. The win also allowed the Spartans to set a 11-man state record for consecutive wins at 49.

The Spartans were so dominant that Presley didn't see plenty of action this season, playing in only 19 quarters. But he was able to rush for 1,109 yards while catching 56 passes for 665 yards, scoring 25 total touchdowns. He threw another TD pass in addition to his title-game throw and also returned a kick for another TD.

Those numbers, as well as his role in Bixby's fourth straight state title, are enough for Presley to be selected as the SBLive Oklahoma 2021 All-State football Most Valuable Player.

Presley will continue his playing career at the next level, having signed with Oklahoma State. He reunites with his older brother, Brennan Presley, who had a big final game himself, helping the Cowboys in their big comeback win against Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl.

One of Presley's teammates received a major honor as well. Senior linebacker Jack Puckett was selected as the Defensive Player of the Year.

Like Presley, Puckett also saw limited playing time because of the Spartans' penchant for blowout wins. But in the action he did see, Puckett was still able to record 110 tackles and 12 sacks. In the 6AII state title win, he had a team-high eight tackles along with a sack and a quarterback pressure.

The Offensive Player of the Year award goes to Cashion senior quarterback Ben Harman. Harman accounted for nearly 5,000 yards of total offense in helping the Wildcats repeat as Class A state champions.

He completed 66 percent of his passes (243-of-366) for 4,148 yards and 52 touchdowns while adding 755 yards rushing on 137 carries and eight TDs.

Harman saved his best performances for the Wildcats' last two games. He passed for 154 yards and two TDs, including the game-winning throw in the final minutes, while adding 113 yards rushing and two TDs in Cashion's come-from-behind 35-31 win against Pawhuska.

Then in the Class A title game, Harman engineered a nine-play 67-yard scoring drive in the closing moments. He threw a 9-yard TD pass to Mason Manning with nine seconds left as Cashion was victorious, 21-14, against Ringling.

The Oklahoma Coach of the Year goes to Collinsville's Kevin Jones. Jones helped guide the Cardinals to unprecedented heights, as they finished 14-0 and claimed the program's first state championship.

In a memorable Class 5A title game, Collinsville outlasted undefeated McAlester, 42-35, as the Cardinals claimed their first-ever gold ball. The week before, Collinsville ended Midwest City Carl Albert's five-year run as 5A champions with a 27-20 win in the semifinals.

Jones also guided the Cardinals to an undefeated season despite dealing with a slew of injuries, notably starting quarterback Andrew Carney, who missed several regular-season games but returned in time to help Collinsville in its playoff push.

The Newcomer of the Year honor goes to Jenks freshman quarterback Shaker Reisig. Reisig completed 96-of-141 passes for 1,571 yards and 18 TDs in helping the Trojans repeat as Class 6AI champions.

He made his first start on the road at archrival Tulsa Union, and Reisig responded by completing 12-of-17 passes for 150 yards and a TD as Jenks won. The two teams had a rematch for the 6AI title, and Reisig threw for 79 yards and scored two rushing TDs to help Jenks rally from a 15-0 deficit in an eventual 30-15 win.
