Four-star St. Augustine defensive lineman Gracen Halton announces commitment to Oklahoma Sooners

Gracen Halton, a four-star senior defensive lineman from St. Augutstine High School, committed to the University of Oklahoma, he announced on CBS Sports on Wednesday afternoon.

Gracen Halton, a four-star senior defensive lineman from St. Augutstine High School, committed to the University of Oklahoma, he announced on CBS Sports on Wednesday afternoon.

Halton had previously committed to Oregon in January of 2021 before opening up his recruitment last month. Halton took an official visit to Oklahoma two weeks ago and chose the Sooners over other finalists Miami and Oregon.

Halton was named a 1st team All-CIF San Diego selection after finishing with 75 tackles and 5.5 sacks during his senior season. He also showcased his versatility on offense for the Saints, finishing with five receiving touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns during his final two years.
