St. Vincent-St. Mary's softball team finally got on the field Tuesday, and the Fighting Irish celebrated not only playing, but winning.

Pitcher Kaidyn Schrader shut down the Canton Central Catholic offense in a 5-0 win for STVM, making its season debut after five consecutive rainouts. 

Kate Kujawski and Eleanor Talley led the offense for the Fighting Irish, and both teams played solid defense.
